ACEC California’s Student Outreach Committee needs help organizing outreach efforts and staying informed on what ACEC California's Chapters are doing at a local level to encourage more engineering and surveying students to enter the profession. Each Chapter is encouraged to appoint a Student Outreach Representative to work with ACEC California’s Student Outreach Committee on important student outreach efforts. Your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated. Send your nominations to staff@acec-ca.org.

PECG’s anti-contracting out measure stalled!
The PECG measure aimed at restricting the use of private sector engineers on state highway projects has been stalled in Committee and is now a two-year bill. Thank you to everyone who sent letters of opposition to their Legislators.

Chapter Photographs
Please submit photographs taken during our Chapter events to staff@acec-ca.org. Your images will be considered for use in our magazine or E-Update newsletter and will be posted to our “members only” photo album located at www.acec-ca.org.
