Paul Meyer
Executive Director
Paul focuses on ACEC California's external relations, including ACEC California chapters, ACEC national, public officials, and industries and professions that affect the membership. He also oversees the ACEC California staff, finances and implementation of the association's policies and programs. He serves as staff representative on the following committees: Executive, CA-ACEC-PAC Board of Governors, Organization & Planning, Nominating, Architects & Engineers Liaison, Infrastructure Delivery Council, Prevailing Wage Law and Associated General Contractors Liaison. David A. Murillo
Membership Director
The Membership Director is responsible for the recruitment and retention of ACEC California's member firms. The Membership Director works with the membership chairs in the 22 state chapters to ensure that current and prospective members are aware of the benefits and the value of ACEC California's membership.  The Membership Director is staff liaison to the Membership Committee and the Business Management and Insurance Committee. Monica Laplander
Communications & Membership Coordinator
Monica assists the Communications Director and the Membership Director. She gives administrative support to the Engineering Excellence Awards Program, the Scholarship Program, and ACEC California's other awards. She assists with distributing ACEC California's monthly newsletter, eUpdate, the recruitment of new members, updating the annual Membership Directory and annual statute publications. Nita D'Arcy
Executive Assistant
Nita serves as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and is the administrative support for committees within the Operations & Planning Program Area, as well as the AGC Liaison Committee, Prevailing Wage Law Committee, and the Infrastructure Delivery Council.  Nita maintains current lists of committees and chapters and tracks political fundraising events.  She prepares the Board of Directors meeting packets, distributes the Action Report, and posts Requests for Qualifications to the web site.  Additionally, she handles meeting appointments and travel arrangements for the Executive Director. Stephanie Reed
Office Manager
Stephanie is responsible for managing clerical staff.  She organizes special projects such as major mailings, convention preparations, Board of Directors meetings and yearly updates of statute books.  Stephanie is responsible for preparing and sending out dues notices, and maintaining all dues records. She oversees the membership database and is responsible for changes in member firm records, (principal names, address changes, phone, fax, e-mail and web) as well as updating chapter officers, committee membership and Board of Directors changes.  Stephanie is staff liaison to the Health Insurance Trust.  She is also responsible for overseeing procurement and maintenance of office equipment and supplies.  Contact Stephanie at sreed@acec-ca.org.

Mark Smith
Legislative Advocate
Mark is a registered lobbyist and works to implement ACEC California's legislative agenda in the State Capitol, testifying before committees and regulatory agencies. Mark is staff liaison for the BPELS Committee, Construction Management Committee, Land Use/Environmental Committee, QBS and LAC Committee, the Seismic Safety Committee and the COPS & CLSA Committee. Mark also directs ACEC California's grassroots program. Darlene Steiner
Accounting Manager
Darlene maintains the financial records, payables and investments for ACEC California, the Health Insurance Trust, the Political Action Committee, the Communication Foundation, Scholarship Foundation, and the Money Purchase Pension Plan. She is also responsible for reporting all political activities to the required governmental offices as well as the Fair Political Practice Commission. Contact Darlene at dsteiner@acec-ca.org.

Beckie Liu
Office Assistant
Beckie carries out general office responsibilities while answering phones for our busy office. She also handles the processing and shipping of publication orders. Beckie updates the annual statute publications, assists with various mailings and participates with assembling packets for a number of ACEC California events. Contact Beckie at bliu@acec-ca.org.  

Jenny Devine
Events and Special Programs Director
Jenny is the Events Planner for ACEC California  The Events Planner's key responsibilities are to plan, promote and evaluate various ACEC California meetings, including ACEC California's Annual Conference, quarterly Board of Directors meetings, seminars and committee meetings.  Jenny is the staff liaison to the Annual Conference Committee, the Continuing Education Committee, the Engineering Excellence Awards competition and the NAVFAC Liaison Committee. Jeannine Woods
Events & Legislative Coordinator
Jeannine assists the Director of Events and the Legislative Advocate. She helps plan ACEC California's annual conference, seminars, and other meetings and events. She gives administrative support to the Future Leaders Program, Legislative Visit Day, Water Resource Committee, Caltrans Liaison Committee, BPELS Committee, Construction Management Committee, Land Use/Environmental Committee, QBS and LAC Committee, the Seismic Safety Committee, COPS & CLSA Committee and the Annual Conference Committee.
